my boss just told me about this site so i decided to join up. I didnt think there was a site for Salem. I look forward to riding with y'all. My name is Shannon and i am a guy had to clarify that right away. I have a cbr600rr orange. relativly new to riding only have a little over 2000 miles under my belt so far. I ride every chance i get.

Well just stumbled on this site. Grew up racing dirt bikes in the area and have just been getting into the street in the past few years. I ride an 06 buell xb12r (if you've seen one its probably me few and far between) and just picked up an 04 cbr1000rr. Would really like to meet some more riders in the area and get in on some rides.

Hey fellow Salem riders.

My name is Tim Parker, I have a black '07 ZX-14 and work for www.MotoSport.com. I grew up racing motocross in the Northwest and have had fun cruising around on my Ninja finding fun new roads and also sharing good times with my girl Stephanie on the back. I like to ride fairly fast, but try to use good judgment and not do anything stupid. I save the stunts and daredevil antics for my '09 CRF450R and the motocross track.

Hello all! Just found this site. I technically live in Independence, but practically all of my lifeis spent in Salem. I ride a 1990 Kawi 500EX in the process of being restored, as the previous owner really did a number on it. Just got the bike running great after 2 weeks of engine work, and went on the "branch out" ride yesterday.

I look forward to meeting more Salem area riders! I'm usually down for a ride in the evenings when it's hot, and the girlfriend likes to ride on the back for a weekend day trip to the coast or the mountains. I snowboard in the winters, and ride (obviously) and backpack in the summers. Been rding dirtbikes for a while, but just started riding street in late June of this year.

Thanks guys. I did the paint myself. It doesn't look that great when you get close to it though, but I did learn a lot from the experience. I do hope to join one the group rides soon.
