This is where i stick her when I go out of town. Its a bitch to get it up the stairs into the apartment! Hella fun to ride it down, as long as there is no car in the spot infront of the stairs.

Thought I should share updated pics now that the Pirate Bike (aka Ninja 650R) is gone... Heres my new ride now, Ive joined the Red Team

It was a riot, as I took possession at Motocorsa yesterday, it started raining... rained all the way to my office in hillsboro, and then rained all the way home down Hwy47 through to west salem. Didnt care, it was still a total blast!

Skinny..... I love the part about being a bitch to getting it up the stairs. That brings back memories of bringing my new 1973 cbr 500 through the sliding doors into my mom's house when I was a kid. She was not a happy mom. A guy needs to keep his new bike dry and clean.... right?

Ok, My turn.

My last bike, some called it a sport bike...

2003 XLcustom 883/1250
I did quite a bit of work to her to get more power and better handling.

I built a dash for it with a tach, oil pressure and charging gauge, as a tech, i like to know how everything is doing at a quick glance.
I installed a fly screen on, modifide it myself and made my own mounts.

It was a quick bike and handles quite well, for what it was. But I was taking longer and longer trips, and a light bike will beat you to death on a long ride (300+ miles). it was on a long trip I got into a windstorm, and i tell you, I was so beat up by the time I got home, it was all i could do to crawl into bed.

Next week I bought this, a 2006 FLHT.

I was all for building this to be a sport touring I had some parts to built the engine, and I worked on the suspension and brakes, I had her for only 10 months, when it happened, a Honda Accord made a left turn in front of me. He came out from behind a line of car, he never saw me, nor did I see him, until it was far too late. I was doing 35-40, and I did the only thing I could do, aim for the rear quarter panel, and jump strait up. I cleared the bike and the car, flew and rolled about 100 feet.

12,805.00 damage, so the insurance company totaled the bike.

And now, I have this bike, a 2007 FLHT, I choice this color for two reasons, it was as far from red as you can get, and in the sun this bike is very bright.

Heres a shot from last month up at Crater lake, I was on my way home from Los Angles.
2300 mil trip.
