It is sooooo much better than even my heavily vented leather jacket, I can't even describe it... night and day improvement in comfort. The whole jacket is one big vent... mesh. Its got armor shoulder / elbow / back and it's woven out of the balistic nylon like all the textile jackets are made out of, so it's still safe in that respect. Has a removable liner that is pretty warm for at night, when the temp drops. Down to about 55-60 sitting up, no problem... but once it dips into the 40s you'll still want a warm, long sleved shirt in your tank bag to go under it. The liner is also water proof for *about* 40-45 min in the rain. (i know this cuz I was like 55-60min from home when it started raining, hard.) The jacket has velcro adjustable straps at the waist and wrist, and snap adjustment (3 levels) on the arms to compensate for different builds within the same size... so those give good range for the overall fit. It's also got a special pocket for an MP3 player with a spot for the cord to come out just above the left collarbone. Anyhow, overall I give it 8.5 out of 10. (if it wasn't so "boy-racer" I would give it a 9) Last edited by ddonacazx12; 06-04-2009 at 07:10 PM.. |
