NEP Cruise Control
I just installed and tested out the NEP Cruise Control (throttle lock) on my SV650. It works well, but the install did take a while and required some trimming of both the NEP unit and inside of hand grip with a utility knife to get everything to look good. At just over $20 shipped from CA Sport Touring it was definitely worth it, and I was able to adjust it so it feels pretty good. The cutting required was so the throttle would close by itself and to allow the edge of the rubber grip to lay flat after it had been pulled back off the lip of the throttle tube.

It's not the most elegant piece ever and it's in the way of the kill switch, but those tradeoffs are definitely worth it to be able to take your hand off the throttle every so often while riding.
