Sizing help on Icon Motorhead jacket
I am looking to buy an Icon Motorhead jacket (my first jacket!!)
Mainly because I think it looks great, seems pretty safe and is affordable, oh yah and it also comes in lime green

It also has zippers to expand belly room a little, although I am not sure if the measurements on newenough.com are with it zipped closed or not.

http://www.newenough.com/protective_...le_jacket.html

I haven't been able to find it locally yet (going to check Beaverton Honda as they sell the Battlecry version online) to try it on and have checked the sizing charts, the problem I am having is my belly measurements are a couple inches bigger than my chest measurements, it seems that nobody makes leather jackets for people like me!!! (yah, I know I should do some situps or something...)

I am 6'4", 230lbs
My chest is about 42", belly 43-44"

Anyone of similar size able to offer gear advice? Particularly the Icon Motorhead jacket.

I Ride: GSXCBR1 Ninja Desmosedici
6'3", 235lbs, chest 52, waist 38

I wear an XXL in Icon jackets (they're all sized the same) and they fit pretty much bang on.

i feel they are a little tight, if you are on the edge go with the bigger size IMO because they have enuff adjusters and stuff you can snug it up if you desire, but you cant make it bigger

I know exactly what you mean

Try the Daytona jacket...you should fit in a XXL.

And it's got more of a straight "husky" guy cut...and comes in a plethora of colors...

I ended up going with the Alpinestars relaxed fit (spinner to be exact) and will probably get the ATL (I think that's the one) for summer riding. Nice looking jackets and VERY good fit for me (XXL size)
