Good to meet you too Rob.

We're still working on getting all the photos processed and online. All photos will eventually be available at http://www.turkphotos.com/2009%20Sportbike%20Northwest

We'll post when we've finished processing everything.

Thanks!

LOL. And you caught me looking for some crap in my tent (big blue one 2nd from the left of the arrowed tent). That's pretty funny.

Cool shots JT. I'm hoping I did not look like a total tard in the ones you took of me during the two free-loader runs I took Friday morning.

Anyone have status on PNWR member that went down 8/1?
On a less light note, anyone know the status of the rider that went down near Appleton on Saturday? He's a poster here. Rides a Yamadog. I hope he's doing well. Seemed like he took a hell of a hit to his head. Helmet looked like it had spent 30 minutes in a cement mixer. :(

If you're reading posts out there man, we're all pulling for ya! Hope it's nothing serious or long term.

We were up on that one soon after it happened, worst part of him was his arm/elbow, and besides being a bit in shock he is damn lucky that ditch didn't have big ass rocks in it.

Hope someone knows who or how he's doing.

He's doing fine. Dislocated elbow and a few scratches on his face from the face shield sheering off. Came back to the fairground and picked up his camping gear with his mom and uncle after getting out of the hospital Saturday night. He was in good spirits.

Now - Imagine how he'd be doing if he wasn't fully geared up (like a few others we saw on the ride).

Wow. that's great that the injuries are far less sever than they looked! Elbow and shoulder did not look 'right'. Glad nothing else happened. And yeah.. ATGATT ATGATT ATGATT!!! The bike looked like it might have been ridable, so I hope that's not a struggle to get all taken care of either.

Good news!

UPDATE: I received a message from the rider. Sounds like he's in really good spirits, nothing broken, an on the road to recovery!

Helmet took a serious beating, but the shell was unbroken. When I left the hospital I didn't even have a headache.
