Just my 2 cents, but some people do actually like having regularly scheduled events/rides/meetings/etc. It's as much the social part of it as it is the riding for them.

That said, I'm not one of those people. I just like to ride. I'll try to catch a bikenight on occasion if I feel like socializing, so no MCs for me, thanks.

No thanks. I have enough bills to pay.
Aren't there a lot of clubs already?
This forum and putting some PNW stickers on my bikes is plenty for me.

But but but.... This IS a club. No vests but stickers, officers (moderators), group rides, great communication, and way too many members. What else do you want?

Cuz there's already MC clubs there....you just didn't look hard enough.

Oh, and they suck. If you feel a need to belong to something go join the military.

Do what you want to do, and do it well. The rest of us don't care to have to wear a vest to prove that we ride. I'll let my scraped pucks and rounded off tire edges show I ride hard (and stupid) on the street.

Lots of clubs and MC's around. If you dont see what you like, start your own.

I ride with a Club. We dont consider ourselves an MC as we do a lot of other shit too. But we are like a big family.

it's a nice concept but not easy to pull off unless you already have a tight core group of people.

Looking for volunteers to make an MC is kinda pointless. You all wont agree on things or have the same goals.

get to know some people, hang out a lot and then see where it goes.

or better yet, join an existing club...

I started one
Its a once a month get together and eat and set up rides and such. www.olymoto.com it was mostly set up to get people together out here on the peninsula cuz there is no real vintage bike club.... it can work but with tons of clubs already its tough. Try the VME... they are a great club over there just to far to drive for us....

Nothing wrong with wanting to start up your own club. Good luck and have fun. Screw the haters. One of the posters asking why, hangs around a club himself "to promote fraternity and motorcycle safety" to its members. Seems like a good enough reason for anyone. Go for it

hey im all for doin your own thing, I got friends who stunt, friends who do track and friends who wear a vest. Doesnt matter but understand that when you post things on an OPEN FORUM for everyone to see, everyone else can say whatever they want (within the rules of the forum). If you looked harder you would see that theres a few.

-Full Tilt Riders
-Latino Riders
-Pinoy Riders
-Ruff Ryders
hell even the banditos if you think your crusty enough for it.

but dont get mad when people try and tell you the truth about MC's. and the truth isnt always bad either

I have nothing against clubs, there are good ones and bad ones. When I first crashed, I was rescued by the ruff Ryder's marysville chapter. Came with two trailers, loaded my bike up, gave me food/water and made sure I was ok. Brought my bike home for me and made sure I was safe and ok.

Like I said, do your own thing, or join an already existing group, but be aware that a few people on this open public forum don't believe in clubs or vests.
