You may want to rethink your route. A slide took out Mtn Hwy and WSDOT closed it between Meridian (SR 161) and Alder Lake.

Try SR 7, SR 507, weasel through Centralia/Chehalis, hop on SR 6, SR 603, then catch SR 505 in Winlock and then SR 504 to Mt St Helens. Got word today that Windy Ridge won't open for another two weeks.

I didn't zoom in close enough to see Alder Cutoff...my bad. Have a great ride to Johnston Ridge.

I'm planning to take the "other" turn in Morton on and hit SR 131, NFS 25 and 99 to Windy Ridge. I figure I'll have a lil fun on the F800GS bouncing around the forest roads.

25 is open for sure and I was told 99 is open, but I have not seen that for myself yet (so I give it a 99% chance since the report was from a reliable source).

A few of us may like to meet up with you guys for the ride up 504, any chance you want to throw in a 504 meet up spot? You guys will probably want to fuel up and stretch a bit anyway before making the fun run up.

FS25 opened Monday.

FS99 is still closed with an anticipated open date of 7/14.

My buddy said he drove past it and did not see a closed sign on it. I guess it could be closed a bit further up though.

Yeah, the FS99 gate is just around the first corner and isn't visible from FS25.

Doesn't mean you can go around it and see how far you can get. I'd bet its snow free most of the way.

Theres a small Gas Station at 504 its on the right side if your going up we can meet there if you guys want..
