There ARE a lot of dangerous drivers out there. The cages just seem more so because you are vulnerable on 2 wheels.

Ride safe, allow for lots of room between you and others and assume that noone knows you're there.

The second incident happened so fast I can't remember if the old fart cut across my lane or just slammed on his brakes and tried to get into the left turn lane. I see some riders with GO PRO camera's and its getting more common for riders to use them to record their rides.

My buddy just got taken out by an asshole in an SUV who wasn't paying attention. Helmet saved his life, full gear means he walked away with only a single bruise and some residual soreness. His bike is likely totaled. This was around the Supermall and happened below 37mph for all involved. In this case, the cager wasn't paying attention to the path he was needing to take and crossed into oncoming.

Just gotta be careful about how and where you mount it. WSP likes to harass people with cams mounted to their helmet. Apparently it's not exactly legal up there.

But yeah, I've got my Contour rolling at all times when I'm on my bike.

I had a perfect ride in today. It was warm enough I just wore my riding jacket, no hoodie. Hit all the green lights on Meridian. My visor didn't fog up. No one riding my ass or cutting me off. No cars pulling out from side streets like they don't see me. No jerk trying to race me in his sportscar. It was one for the books.

i had to deal with a wierd cloud like mist almost all the way to work this morning. was just enough to mess up my visor but not enough i could turn my head and get the wind to catch it. goddammed clouds are out to get us!!!1
