Rock & Rally for the Troops - 8/4 @ RTD - Proceeds got to "Operation Ward 57"

Hi,

Is anyone going to this? I'm going to try to make it. I promised a former vet (was in the Army for 25 years) that I met at the "Operation Homefront" event that I'd go.

Again it's a great cause. There is a bike ride for it too - and it ends at Rock the Dock Pub & Grill (address is: 535 Dock St, in Tacoma)

All proceeds go to "Operation Ward 57". Ward 57 is the soldier amputee ward at Walter Reed hospital.

I hope I'll be good enough to make it. If so, I definitely will go - even if it's just for a short while.

This was a post I made while standing in front of a band @ Rock The Dock. Not because of the thread. No one from PNW was there. Ate dinner with some friends. Watched the band and left. Not passive aggressive at all. Just wondering why people left the event if anyone was there.

But I understand your misjudgement of my post. You're just now reading it.

No one was there because the whole thread turned into an argument about parking.

I had a migraine earlier that day, so I was wiped out. I couldn't go. I told the people that I was meeting there that I wasn't going. I guess they didn't want to go either after I said I was out.

I never thought in a million years that you would go. I'm actually astonished you went!

You said you were going last time too - then after, you said you missed it cuz you had to "uhhh.... pick up something".

And I don't know you at all, since on Tuesday, every time I tried to talk to you at Cycle Gear, you walked away.

Just need a better venue for this crowd period.I went the 2 times and that was enough for me.Sport bikers and cruiser crowd dont mix that well

Here's the original thread as well - it's all about parking. There's nowhere where you said you were coming. Actually, it would be "moved" thread - that became all about parking.

I didnt notice you come up to me at all. Not something I did purposefully. Hell I was standing right behind you for a good minute.

You were behind me? When the stunt show was going on? That was the only time I stood by all the PNWRiders. Like you said, you stood behind me. I don't have eyes in the back of my head.

And I only look at this forum.
