You know you are right. They really did jump to conclusions here. My guess is that a KC Masterpiece truck was heading through town with a leak of some sort, leading to the mayhem these riders encountered.

I think the point he is trying to make is that there is no way without a thorough examination of the wreckage and skid marks that the police could know speed was a factor.

They often times assume that speed is a factor in ALL motorcycle accidents...

I think he meant when a car kills a motorcyclist they get a ticket but when a motorcyclist kills a curb and a rock wall they get vehicular assault.

I had a nice lil minivan but a couple months back I was out at 12am cruising with a couple buds and their vans and a friend of mine went in the ditch. We got him my van with me so we could head to the ER but then I crashed my van into my other friend driving his van so we both rode to the hospital with the nice paramedics in an ambulance.

The thing that gets me. Is after the second crash. The third guy was taking pics of his crashed (high performance) motorcycle. With his two dumb fuck drunk buddies past out on the street. What kind of friend is that....

I'm no LEO but I think riding intoxicated while having a passenger which results in a crash and injury to passenger is vehicular assault?

But wouldnt said passenger have to press charges? I didnt think the state could press those kind of charges on its own w/o the victim's support.
