I Ride: 79 Suzuki GS850G
Ride Sunday Sept. 30th
Meet at the starbucks by walmart in Bonney Lake. KSU at noon. We'll head up 410 to 123 over to 7 and down through eatonville. I'm going no matter what and I'm leaving that starbucks at that time on Sunday. The weather is supposed to be dry and sunny and not too cold. How many more opportunities will we have?

I Ride: KFC
Did the reverse of that last Sunday. That portion of 12 is very boring - don't fall asleep! Too bad the last portion of 706 to 123 is closed. You could do Skate Creek Rd but it was recently chipsealed & that doesn't correct the up&downs in that road either.

What curvy portion is not detoured on 7 had a lot of gravel in the center & on the sides of the lanes. Be carefully.

Add the chip seal & it's a BIG piece of shit road!

We had a late start & there were 6 of us riding. Me on a fresh plugged rear. We would have loved to do St Helens but didn't have the time.

I agree with you that if the OP has the time, do Helens before it closes. Much more exciting ride than the 200 mi one posted. But hey, I was just happy my rear made it through the ride w/ no issues. I would have hated for it to go wrong up by St Helens & try to find cell reception to beg GixxerTek or someone w/ a trailer to come get me.
