very nice, and you just got it broken in.

I'm thinking about a fork brace for my 09 abs,

which one did you end up going with?

That's the Richland Rick forkbrace, and it really made a difference in the handling and riding in the wind. Also, note the LED turn signals on the handguards.

thanks, I think I'll order one, I have not dropped the forks any so I should not have any abs clearance issues.

I missed the LED signals, nice touch, where they a pain to wire up?

and bump for the swiss=army knife of bikes.

  5. Hey, Larry! One of my customers up in Sunnyside may be interested. I'll try to reach him tomorrow and give him your number.

The LED flashers were pretty easy to put in, and didn't cost much. The stock flasher relay won't drive LEDS, so you have to put in an LED-compatible flasher relay (<$10 from the auto parts stores). I pulled the contact wires from the stock multifunction relay and routed them to the aftermarket relay, which I mounted with a zip tie. The whole thing cost ~$25 for parts, and produced front turn signals that are highly visible (unlike the flush-mount lights). Let me know if you need more details.
