Is there another recreational (or non-recreational) activity that has as high an attrition rate as street motorcycle riding?

  2. Street riding ... a recreational activity? Really?

  3. Yes, bicycle riding. And most cagers hate bicycles worse than motorcycles.

We don't even want to get into pedestrians and those idiot joggers and faster paced runners.

Race walkers are worth 1000 points.

The closest hated to bicycles are hybrid vehicles. How can those assholes go a hundred miles on a gallon of gas :angry7:

  4. Wearing a KKK shirt in South Florida? Think you'd be as busy as a one legged man in an ass kicking competition

    Yes.

Also, photography, bicycle riding, and snowboarding/skiing.

  6. Then you are the reason, not the machine.

  8. Ah ... yes ... the topic ... "as high an attrition rate as street motorcycle riding". Grow up playing in the streets did you?

Ah see, I interpreted attrition as "turnover rate". Fancy edumacated words don't belong on internet forums.

Seriously, how many activities has anyone been involved in where you lose several close friends a year? Soldier of fortune? Member of Mexican Cartel?

  14. it is the nature of the sport nothing more nothing less

probably the only thing more deadly is drinking and driving followed by cell phone use while driving

just my useless drivel .o2 cents worth

BASE jumping. All BASE jumpers knows someone that has died. Well.....that's what I've read.

  16. Yup I do believe you are correct - forgot about that sport seems you always hear of someone biffing it

interesting to see the percentage of deaths compared to the number of folks engaged in the sport

    Yep, would be interesting.

  18. I'd like to see the data if the people that have chosen to recreate on a motorcycle were removed.
