Al's Honda, BAD,BAD,BAD

  1. Went in to buy an atv and asked for help. The girl behind the counter said no salesman was there. No customers in the store. She said back in an hour. Went back in 2 hours, still no one in store and no one to help me. I asked if they had anything to read about atv's and she said no. I said, "thats pathetic" "tell your boss maybe I'll go to Marysville or Burlington and spend my money". Later I went back, around another 2 hours later and met Barry. He asked me waht I wanted to do, I said "sell me". He said come inside. We went inside and he said that I couldn't wait for him to finish bailing out a broken down truck that his employee was stuck in. I said "what"? He said was I the one that "lipped off to his girl"? I said I didn't think I was lipping off. I told him what I had said and he slammed his palm on the counter and said "theres the door" I said I'd just go spend my money somewhere else. I promptly went home, looked up Lifestyles Honda in Burlington and bought not one, but 2 brand new honda atvs, one foreman, trx500fpe and one rancher 250fpe to the tune of almost 17K, cash. I even called him up after and got the recording machine, told him I would get on the internet and that I bought an atv, at this point I only got one, my wife talked me into another onr 5 days later.
    I know that the store had bad reviews and wanted to give him a chance, what a mistake. I wouldn't go in there to pee on his floor if my kidneys were about to burst. I recommend Lifestyles honda for a 20K foot showroom and excellent service and quality people that want your return business. They said they get a lot of people from Bellingham that were disgusted by the twit Barry. I think they must own a crack house next door, I can't for the life of me understand how they stay in business.

    Lipping off to the girl behind the counter was a dick move. It's not her fault no one was there and she probably makes minimum wage. Save that for the people that deserve it.

    Sounds like he won't be in business much longer anyway. Places like that don't last long.

  4. Surely all the threads on the internet saying not to go to Al's Honda couldn't have been wrong?
    Twenty years ago I quit going there and I've ridden Hondas for over 30. I'd drive right past Al's an hour extra to go to Marriott's Honda in Mt. Vernon. :mfclap:

  5. Al's Honda sucks. So does Mt. Baker Moto. The only dealer around here that isn't super shitty is Skagit Powersports.

    also it doesnt matter how much a person makes, minimum wage or 100k. when youre working you represent the store. she should have jumped out behind the counter and sold this dude some power toys. not let him leave the store!
  7. I think Mt. baker motor sports only sucks to people on this forum that sit and type away at there keyboard, they are just as helpful as any other shop and cool guys to BS with at the track.

    Lifestyles kicks ass too :mfclap: My buddy just bought a 2013 CRF450 from them last week good people there.
  8. They don't have the WORST customer service (far from the best), but for so much floorspace, they don't carry SHIT. Went in at the beginning of "the season" as you non-year-round-riders call it, looking for a jacket and boots for my girlfriend. They had 4 (no, literally FOUR) street jacket models, and ONE (ONE!) pair of women's boots in stock. They didn't sell out of the others, they just don't carry ANYTHING.

    Back to bashing on Al's Honda... commence!

    Thanks for the Heads-up about Al's. I don't or won't darken their door.
    As far as telling their counter girl their service sucks, thats 'FEED BACK'.
    Maybe she will get a clue and leave the mismanaged place.
  13. She's employed there, and nobody else was present to complain to. If your food sucks you bitch to the waitress right? If she said "oh, well the chef is out for a couple of hours, I'll let him know you were dissatisfied" I think you'd lip off to her. I know I would.
  14. Ding ding... Good customer service rolls down hill. If the boss treats customers like garbage, so will the employees.

  16. I'm glad you had a good experience at Lifestyles. I have never had one there. In fact, I have had some of my worst buyer experiences ever there.

    didn't someone go in for a new set of rubber.. and they burnedout and popped the old tire?

    Then they later claimed that was a common practice?
