I'm looking for an old muffler to adapt to my generator. Anyone in the Kitsap area have something on the small side that isn't rotted out that they want to get rid of? I think an old dirt bike muffler would be ideal. Fat fingered the title. Damn it!
Don't have one for you, but oddly enough my coworker and I were just talking about this. I think he's going to adapt a little scooter exhaust to his, as they are compact and usually work well, like this one, or this one.
Got scooter mufflers, etc. Hit me up, I'll hook you up. However, be aware that muffler mods offer somewhat minimal Db reduction on a genset. AMHIK☹️
buddy of mine welded up a standard car muffler to his backup generator and it turned out pretty good.
