  1. Shit, this took way longer than I thought. Finished up the seat yesterday and took her for a spin. After the dual sports, adventure bikes, small and large sportbikes, L2's, I4's, 2 and 4 stroke thumpers that I've owned... I think THIS is the most fun I've ever had on a bike. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go romp around town making extra loud, zingy noises :evil4:

    What a menacing 10 horsepower

And the seat, the last piece of the puzzle

evander and Shrek X like this.
  2. Holy crap that's cool! I want one!

  3. damn.

you never have any fun do you?
  4. my ninja 636 doesn't look so cool anymore :(

that would actually be funner to have in a bunch of situations,

but for commuting I need my 121 BHP to go 160mph
  5. I'm guessing based on the signature that's the G3SS? Looks fantastic! I love it. I keep wanting to put together a cafe bike. Looks great though and I'll bet it's a blast to run around with!
  6. Nice detail work!!!
Is that the wire harness going up the frame rail? You cna get some heat shrink at Radio Shack or I think even Lowes has it...Really tidy's it up.
  7. OMG that looks too cool! Nice work!!!

You're right, 10hp never looked so bad ass.
  8. Oh how entertaining...

  9. Thanks for the kind words guys! It was a bit more work than I had thought originally, but I think it turned out nicely.

Mullet - if you REALLY want one I'd be happy to build you one for a small price :) I've recently graduated and am trying to break into the bike building/repair business. I'd like to avoid having a real job anytime soon, but my time is quickly running out!

I WOULD like to say, if anyone would like a bike custom built I'd be happy to do so. I do everything from engine rebuilds to paint to upholstery to welding to fiberglass and carbon fiber. I've got a 74 CB200 that's waiting for a resto/cafe conversion, a CT70, and a few other little non-street-legal projects going on right now. So if anyone is in the market for a cafe or vintage Japanese bike, give a shout and I'd be happy to talk.

    [/end plug]

Koor - I have plenty of fun, and usually get to ride 2 or 3 bikes on any given day... this one is just... "special"

Drag, those are indeed wires. They're wrapped in clear plastic tubing, like the kind you use for aquariums and such. Nearly waterproof (she won't be seeing rain unlike my other bikes) and you can see the wires underneath, plus it's easy to get into if I ever have to troubleshoot anything.
  10. She's a beauty, Good work.
  11. teehee.

between this and your other 2 smokes and your adv r6, I'm super jelly
  12. The R6 actually sold a month or two ago. Made a nice little profit and bought a few other project bikes with the money, to hopefully do the same again.
  13. Yeah, That thing is awesome . Im jealous .
