Discussion in 'Roseburg' started by varment, Sep 13, 2012.

  1. ... Does anybody have one?

  2. I have a chain breaker some where in my tools. It seams someone has talked about this before.
It is for breaking chains apart only. Is this what you are looking for????

I had one from Harbor Freight but I broke it trying to mushroom a rivet-less clip link. Lol.

I have a chain breaker if you ever need it.

  5. Anyone who's up for purchasing some specialty tools and splitting costs, let me know.

Go get the Harbor Freight one or buy it at Cycle Gear when it's on sale for 30-40 bucks. Works just fine.

  7. Same brand, same quality?

I believe so. I had a Cycle Gear unit generously given to me by a member here and it worked great! Recommend that one. No personal experience with the harbor Freight one though.

  9. Harbor Freight doesn't have as many adjustment peices as the Cyclegear Stockton setup... however I don't see why it wouldn't work as well.

Cyclegear sale is awesome for purchasing it.

  10. I've picked up some good gear at a great price at Springfield Cycle Gear. I'll look more at their tools next time I'm up there. Probably something they would have to order?

Really depends on the store. The ones around here always seem to have them in stock.

  12. I have air compressor and grinder and cut off wheel, getting the chains off isn't the problem, besides, I'm really good at breaking shit... But the coveted rivet tool would be nice. Just wanted to see if anyone had one handy before I add it to the list of things to buy...
