I've been away from the site for some time. Whats new is that I finally found a GS500 and got it restored to perfection. Its a 1991 model, new headlight, new tail, new rings/pistons and new crank. The bike is running good..

Took some pics, it was cloudy and dark. Bright pics will come soon..

Bigger bikes are very costly here in Pakistan being imported items. Even though this one is an old model, it cost me a total of about $2100, I understand that with this much money you can buy a hell lot better machines but not in this part of the world. Sounds funny, huh?

Nice bike. I nearly bought a GS500 as my first bike. It looked nice enough on Craigslist but the dude was mad as a hatter. It had an aftermarket can and a serious exhaust leak.

He tried to impress me as a buyer by revving the sh!t out of it and it remains the definition of obnoxiously loud to me.
