  1. 1980 Kawasaki KZ1300 A2
    19k orig miles
    clear Washington title in hand
    never been down

    Specs:
    1286cc Inline Six
    120hp @ 8000 rpm
    40+mpg
    5 spd transmission
    shaft drive

The guy before me restored the bike with all NOS parts and painted it. He clamed it was a $2500 paint job. I bought it at 14k and rode it to 19k last fall. It runs and rides great. Very comfortable. New tabs. I'm selling because I'm moving to Alaska. Even though this is a big bike it does a mid 11 second quarter mile and tops out at 142mph. Cruise like a Harley, speed like a sportbike. Also has automatic turn signal shutoff. The bike also includes a new spare clutch (I thought it needed one but it just needed to be adjusted), and new spare front brake pads.

    Recent Work Done:
-20 miles on new fork oil
-30 miles on new engine oil
-1000 miles on rear differential fluid
    -30 miles on valve adjustment
    -100 miles on Rebuilt Carbs
    -100 miles on Rebuilt Engine
The bike was using about a quart of oil every 2k miles so I decided to go though the motor last winter. Everything in the bottom end was like brand new so I took the cylinders and pistons to a machine shop thinking while I was in there I should bore the cylinders and replace pistons but they said the original pistons were in great shape so I should just deglaze the cylinders and replace the rings. I did that and had Cylinder Head Sevice in Spokane rebuild the head. I've done a follow up valve adjustment at 100 miles to make sure everything is seated properly. I've changed the oil twice since the rebuild.

    New Parts:
    Radiator Hoses
    Battery
    Fuel Filter
    Dunlop Elete II rear tire
    rear brake pads
    water pump mechanical seals
    valve seals
all engine/exhaust/carb gaskets (no aftermarket junk)
and much more, I just don't remember

    Upgrades:
    -Electro Magnetic Flasher
-High output coilswith new ballast resistor and Accel plug wires
    -Custom Paint
-ZX-11 ratcheting cam chain tensioner (stockers were prone to failure)
    -Custom airbox and K&N filter
    -Jetted carbs

On the road. I strapped my digital camera to the bike. Unfortunately the crappy mic didn't handle wind noise very well but you get the idea. The bike drives perfectly and sounds great.

This bike is awesome you guys. It's a lot faster than it looks, and sounds unlike anything I've ever heard with the straight six!!

Bikes like these are hard to find, especially as clean as this!!

    Good luck mike!

  4. This is a message I got through ebay:
"Dude, that bike is a piece of shit and you know it. I'll give you $100 bucks for it. That's it. There's no such thing as six cylinders anyways you jackass. All motorcycle have one, cars can only have 4, 6, or 8.

    Get a clue you retard.

Let me know if we have a deal."

Very funny Dave! At first I was like WTF but after seeing it came from daveypoo86 and seeing he likes to sell motorcycle parts I figured it out.

you have to have a reserve set in order for it to stay. and even then, it will still disappear when the reserve is met.
