Looking for a wheelie coach/executioner

  1. So I popped a wheelie...

    Then I popped another.

    A YouTube degree in stupid.

An empty long parking lot surrounded mostly by trees and bushes.

    and off I go.

First off. Let me remind you that I ride a gutless wonder otherwise known as a Ninja 650r. I can power wheelie in first from a super slow roll. Not so much in anything but the bottom of second if I slam out of first at super high rpm's.

The only way I can really lift the front off is clutch work.

My method has been pretty steady. Slow roll. Cover my back break, Rev the engine once quick to build up my rpm's. Just a quick blip. Then I blip again just after the first and drop my clutch at the top of that blip, and up she comes.

I'm used to how violent and quick it all is. And I'm only, as far as I can tell, no higher than 45 degrees. Maybe once, but I about shat myself. I'm too scared to try and keep it up there, and the more I practice each time I do practice, i eventually end up scaring myself enough times, that It builds up to me stopping and going home.

I would love any help anyone has to aid me in destroying a once perfectly good bike, and probably a good part of me in the process.

Comments, suggestions, or a daring soul willing to take on such a mission would be greatly appreciated. (Portland or Vancouver of course. Seattle is a long way and I don't wanna wheelie that bad.)

I would suggest finding someone with a dirt bike if you can and practicing off road. Those bikes are geared lower, go slower, and the ground is typically softer. They are also much easier to wheelie so you can be familiar with how it feels. If it's not possible, I understand but highly recommend it.
  3. I heard Devil Doc can throw down a mean wheelie.
  4. My butt likes this idea best.
