Great race, the great equalizer (rain) made it very good.

Rossi beat Stoner for second place, great battle the last few laps with a couple of swaps.

Wtf is up with Spies, some of the crt machines beat him.

I just watched the replay several times of Lorenzo's race wining pass of the two Hondas. It was pretty phenomenal maneuver under these wet conditions. He truly deserved to win this race.

Ya, it was a great move.

I felt bad for Crutchlow and Dovi going down, good thing they were able to rejoin and salvage a result. I knew it was going to happen, those two and Rossi were bunched up the entire race. Good to see a lot of close racing for the majority of the laps.

A bit of a nail biter on the last few laps for 2nd place. I was wondering if he would be sliding down the track, blaming the front end again.

At least he showed more confidence in that same front end than he has shown all seasons.

I don't know, I think the rain causes front and rear problems with all the bikes, thus making it a more rider based result. In dry conditions, he probably would probably be in 7th behind the other factory, tech 3, and gresini rides. Just my opinion here.

Did anyone else notice that My Beloved Yamaha had three of the first four positions for much of the race? Just sayin'......

Great race! I think the greater rear weight bias of the 90 degree motor in the Duc is actually an advantage in the wet?!

Spies is saying water was getting into his helmet the first 5 laps. Pretty much gave up from there, and just went back out to gather some data. He really should just be a bicycle racer, seems he's lost his love of motorcycles

Good call and strong possibility. The all new 75 degree engines will be out for Laguna Seca, hopefully this will solve the issues on dry pavement.

No, did not notice that. I saw Honda's and Ducati. Must have been the coverage by choice.

It sounds harsh, but I kinda hope Spies loses his GP ride and goes back to WSB - that's where the real racing is!

+1 was thinking the same thing after watching the race.

I wonder how much less they get paid in WSB?
