So I am trying to decide which tires to put on my bike. Looking at the Michelin 2ct and the Michelin Pure or maybe Bridgestone BT016pro's. Any other suggestions and or comments. Thanks in advance. Trying to keep it affordable but good as well.

I have the power pure on my bike, i like it so far. Only have 1000 miles on it so i cant comment on longevity but it grips really good. Haven't had one slip yet. Just rode home in the rain and it didn't give me any trouble.

You didn't mention what type of riding you will be doing. That's the number 1 factor in determining your options.

Why not Q2's? or S20 ......also the tire i am seriously considering... hoping for a bit longer life with same grip in corners as the Q's

are you fast enough to need a sport tire (hint, you're not if you don't already have a tire brand preference)

get a multi-compound sport touring tire with hard rubber down the middle, and softer to the edges for cornering

    brand and model don't matter.

    I would go with a 190/55 and a 120/70. :nana

You're on a roll today with your words of wisdom. I'm starting to wonder if you are drinking on the job.

Both the s20's and q2's are great tires. The s20 will be cheaper and the q2 will wear longer. I liked the handling of the s20 slightly better. My $.02

Well, I have never bought tires for a bike. My R6 had Pirreli's on it for 2 years, never needed replacement. As far as I know they handled well but then again the ZX10 is a pig compared to the R6. The ZX was new and had factory Battalax which have never instilled very much confidence in me and others I know with the same tires feel the same way. So how could I have a preference. Lol....

k, then take it from people who have: brand doesn't matter. pick one you like.

and my statement still stands that if you don't already have a tire brand preference, you aren't fast enough to REQUIRE sport tires. get a sport touring tire.
