How do you want to start the new year? As for me, I want to start it on a motorcycle as usual. Depending on conditions, it may not be much of a ride but a ride it will be! One year it was just a couple of runs up the street and back after an hour of shoveling a path from my garage to the street but I think it counts. This year Irene who owns the Last Chance Tavern has plans of preparing some kind of special treatment for us riders in the form of food and music. She and Gary, her hubby, both ride and have for as long as I've known them. (must be 30 years or so) She also wants to do a poker run or something. Anyway, I intend to be there since she went to the trouble and I hope to see some of you there as well. 1 pm to 4 pm at The Last Chance Tavern on 11th st. Black eyed peas and ham. Music by Brad and Lou. Motorcycle ride is "weather permitting" of course.
