Took the gf up to the pull off's up on the ridge to watch the star show and took out a yearling on the way back down. Very thankfull i was going barely 30 but I didn't even see it step out of the ditch untill it was right in front of me with my low beams on. Made it home safe and sound after pulling over to unpucker and make sure she was ok. Looks like just a few small dents on the left side of the tank, set of front blinkers, and a cracked front fender was the damage after rinsing all the deer poo off the bike and my leg..

Glad you and the gf are ok, sucks for the bike and deer.

  5. It could have been worse, i've seen bear cross that road a few times. That is a good spot for looking at the stars.

Just like my dog, always trying to get a ride on my bike.

Ran her over once too.. She lived..

Came close to hitting deer, they leap out in front soooo quick..
I'm glad you two weren't injured...
