Does your front tires tread point in this direction as well?

The directional arrows are pointing the right way, but this seems to be counter intuitive in the tread pattern? I just want to clarify before I go rail high bridge and become another statistic because the tread pattern was the wrong way.

    Thanks!

I dig an image search on Google for your tire, and in every pic the tread was the same direction as yours. 8)

Awesome, thanks. I'm gonna go rail high bridge now.

  5. Isn't there an arrow on one of the tire sides?

  11. Not counter intuitive if you think about the difference in the loads of your front and rear tires. Fronts spend their time stopping while rears spend their time accelerating; forces acting in opposite directions. You're much more likely to be a statistic "railing" brand new tires rather than their mounting direction. Be careful.

  12. I read it, I just really don't think you understand the concept of tire tread.

There's an arrow pointing the right way, because they're smarter than you.

It's not only meant to push water out, but force the treads closed upon hard cornering.

  13. Can't you flip a Q2 like a 211?

  14. The Dunlop guys said this was the first year that the US Spec tires were flip-able.

So I would imagine the q2 may not be?

  15. Picture yourself at a steep lean and the pattern makes sense.

  16. You can flip q2's

  17. You can mount it the other way for single track and trials type riding.

Thank you for that info. That makes sense.

I wasn't questioning the direction of the tread or that dunlop is smarter than me, coming from pirelli tires, the tread pattern on the Q2's seemed "backwards" from what I know. Never said I was a mother fucking genius.

I did this while at the gas station having a redbull and a smoke, it made sense.
