Recommended tire shop, Lynwood / Everett

  1. Hey all,

I recently find myself back in the north end, and need to get some new tires mounted on the Multi. I don't have a front stand. Can anyone recommend a shop that will do a tire change with the wheels still on the bike, for a reasonable rate?

  2. If you buy the tires from Motorcycle superstore or Ducati bellevue they will do them for $30. per wheel.

  3. I bought my tires from Motorcycle Superstore when they were having one of their big sales. Everett Powersports put them on for $40/tire, if I remember right. Fast service too. If you call ahead, they can tell you if there's much of a wait, and you can pick your day, and probably get in and out in under an hour.
  4. So I got a nail in my tire and I plugged it. I'm thinking of getting a new tire from Kawi Bellevue, or maybe the Lynnwood dealer. Any thoughts?

    my thought:

you can buy a new tire if you want, but if it's holding air and you don't ride super hard, leave it plugged and replace when needed.

which lynnwood dealer? there are a few of them.
  6. Powersport. Bellevue Kawi would be my first choice though.

1+ for mike at everett powersports
  8. You mean Lynnwood Motoplex? There is no Lynnwood Powersports that I know of.

I recommend Rex at Lynnwood Motoplex.

  9. Ducati Bellevue is supposed to have the best prices for mounting. My original plan was to get tires of (had the lowest prices) and then have ducati Bellevue mount them. However the cyclebarn in smokey point had a midnight madness sale and were doing 50% off labor and the tires were cheaper than motorcyclesuperstore so I couldn't resist and had them do them.
  10. Lastats customs in Everett. He's pretty reasonable and quick.
  11. Is that what used to be SSU?

A good shop, but make sure that they know what they are doing. I had them install on my 1000 when it was SSU, and the person that did the tires (not Adrian) put too much weight on the tire, and also didn't balance them properly so I had a lump basically on the tire. Took it to EPS to have them fix it, and bam bike was great

    Yes, used to be SSU
