Skills day 6/17

Discussion in 'Westside' started by CodeBlue, Jun 5, 2012.

  1. Eireannach Rothai is having a skills day at the Everett Aquasox stadium parking lot on Sunday, June 17 at 9am.

There will be a cone course set up and lots of ridiculously experienced riders hanging around to teach you new skills, or just brush up on old ones.

100% FREE. Just show up and we'll take as much time as you like to help you improve.

  2. Hopefully in, for a change I don't think I have any scheduling conflicts.

Thanks ER and CodeBlue for continuing these.

Finally one of these falls on a day when I don't have any prior commitments.

I've been wanting to come do this for a long time.

    Thanks for doing these.

  4. You guys do all the cool stuff over there !

I'll be there. Got a lot of excellent feedback from the last event, hope to get more on the 17th.

  7. In if the weather is nice. Finals should be done.

I'll be there again. Helped me improve my cornering infinityx last time. Can we work on breaking as well?

Morwan, I look forward to seeing your bike again. Quite the looker.

  9. We'll have a more continuous course next time to limit the standing around time. There will be braking practice available.

  10. Count me as tentative! I wanna get comfortable with backing-it-in on the motard; will this fit in?

  11. We haven't stopped Pete...

  12. Just what I am needing, might be able to make it.

  13. A motorcycle. A helmet. We'd prefer more gear (jacket, boots, gloves etc.), but we won't turn you away.

They have been very nice to let an old squid like me squirrel around and even crash a few times!? But there isn't much of a chance to practice backing it in from speed. If you like flat tracking around in small circles, you'll love it.

  15. To be fair, though, we let you get away with a lot more than we'd allow from just about anyone else. We just figure you know the risks. If someone showed up on a brand new R6 with temp tags and it was his/her first bike we'd reign that in pretty quickly.

  16. 3 days away bump.

Uh oh... This doesn't sound like my father's msf course. I'm probably not too good at flat tracking my r6.

  18. In, +1!

Have been looking forward to the next skills day - the last one was super helpful.

    Thanks for putting these on!

  19. Flat track sounds great.

Weather looks a little wet, too
