ohhh snap... i guess we saw this coming
Well that's interesting. Maybe he's just gonna go race bicycles?
At the risk of sounding nieve... I have a feeling that eventually Spies is going to get his shit together and be a force to reckon with. He really could not put a season together this year but the underlying skill is there somewhere, and I'm sure he'd love to have the last laugh.
Hmmmm......bet the surprise is he is going to ride for Suzuki.
That's one of about a billion rumors.
I want to see him in WSBK (I want to see everyone in WSBK though).
Hopefully Suzuki has a new gix for '13 though. Their GP bike might also be ready for next year. Hard to argue with history, but I doubt they'd make a come back unless they knew they could build a competitive package.
Maybe in WSBK, their GP bike isn't going to be ready until 2014
That's no surprise to me, considering his lack of performance. It's one thing when both riders on a team are struggling, but not many excuses when your teammate is winning or in the top three. He has a history with the speculated other manufacturer, maybe they can develop a world class bike together...AJ
Can't say I'm heartbroken, would love to see Nicky ride in his spot.
So the more important question,
who's taking his seat? I would love to see Dovi or Cal on a factory Yami. They're tearing it up on their current ride.
I would bet Cal, would have bet on Marquez. But the rules say no the first year; It will be intestesting...AJ
Marquez is going to Honda to replace Stoner; the first year factory ban was rescinded.
Rossi is the latest rumor.
I almost said Rossi, but remembered Duc stating he was staying on. Wouldn't surprise me if he jumped though. It would be interesting to see him on a competitive bike with a competitive team mate again.
Would still like to see Dovi or Cal.
Moto GP is about as exciting to watch as Nascap :x
+1 for hoping he moves to WSBK
I'd love to see Spies go WSBK!
Both are equally fast on the Tech3 M1. I wanna see what either would do on the factory ride. Although it might ruin the fun of watching them go back and forth...
I bet they pick up Dovi, would be a good match running behind Lorenzo as he is an excellent defensive rider and hard to pass. A lot of rumors about Cal taking Hayden's spot next year. Duc giving Rossi the 75 degree engine this week and the outcome of the relationship should be decided soon based on the results.
