Super coolant??

Discussion in 'Mechanical & Technical' started by Mr.O, Jun 15, 2006.

  1. There was thread at one time talking about some new coolant product that keeps the motor temp way cooler than conventioinal coolants.

What is it and where do I get some??

I completed a project on my FJR that will reduce the heat that I currently take in the legs by 60%. It also reduces the heat build up on the tank by 50%.
I sure hope it works as advertised!!

  2. Wow...look at your other post...engine ice motorcycle dealer.

The stuff is used for racing applications and claims only a 10% reduction in heat.
The bad part, is, it needs to be changed way more often, and COSTs a bunch.
I use Havoline Dex-cool Extended life coolant. It works excellant.
Available at Wal-Mart. Silicate and Phosphate free.
Theres good artical on draining and flushing your FJR's coolant system at :www.fjrtech.com
    Wear gloves and eye protection.

water wetter is also a super coolant. You could mix it with water or with antifreeze.
