There was thread at one time talking about some new coolant product that keeps the motor temp way cooler than conventioinal coolants. What is it and where do I get some?? I completed a project on my FJR that will reduce the heat that I currently take in the legs by 60%. It also reduces the heat build up on the tank by 50%. I sure hope it works as advertised!!
The stuff is used for racing applications and claims only a 10% reduction in heat. The bad part, is, it needs to be changed way more often, and COSTs a bunch. I use Havoline Dex-cool Extended life coolant. It works excellant. Available at Wal-Mart. Silicate and Phosphate free.
