My name's Dan. Headed back from Afghanistan in a few weeks and just bought an '07 Buell XB12 Scg. I've had a Firebolt, 929RR and 1000RR previously, just haven't ridden in the past couple years due to deployments.

I live in N. Tacoma walking distance to O'Doyle's Public House and The HUB.

I've been lurking on the forums and I'm intrigued by the community. Looking to get some solid rides in before the weather gets nasty. I'm from Arizona, so I'm a fair weather rider only, lol.

    I'm also on BuellXB.com

At the rate the "summer" is going, if you want to ride after you get back plant your butt in the walk in cooler each day for an hour to get acclimated to PNW weather. If not, you'll die of frostbite when you get home.

I'll be sure to find ways to acclimate myself to the weather... But I think I'll do that by having a few cold beers every night until I get used to the change in temperature, lol.
