i fail to find the humor in a 74 yr old rider who no longer can handle two wheels but wants to continue to enjoy the road...
+1 And a wife that will still ride with him. :mfclap::mfclap:
There's an old timer in my St. Johns hood who cruises on a Harley Trikster...and he has a permagrin!!!!
Must be better than rotting in front of a TV and cheaper than medication.
Keep on rollin!
I never agree with anyone on this board however, this time I do
red dot incoming
Not funny, poor taste!! I pray im still around and rolling at that age!
I just wonder about the trucker with the poor equilibrium. Still truckin'???
Yeah, pretty poor judgement posting it like that.
I'll never give up riding, two wheels, trike or hoverbike. Whatever there is, I'll never give it up.
Moved from Portland to Moto Talk.
I would have bought something like the MP3. All the fun is gone if you can't lean. Well it's already gone when you get something that is pretty much the two-wheeled equivalent of a honda accord.
Any disabled person or older person that switches to a trike to keep riding is cool IMO. More power to them. I can only hope I'm that mobile at 65-70+.
Seriously? Trikes are the equivalent to a grownup Big Wheel...find some illegal gravel and do some donuts! Reminiscing of my younger years...my brother with his GI Joe Big Wheel and me with my Barbie Big Wheel...no fear rolling down embankments, pulling our "emergency break," spinning out in gravel. Ahh, the good 'ol days...I'd totally go trike if I could no longer go 2-wheel it.
