We have all run into that recalcitrant traffic signal which never seems to find a bike, whether it is the small step through or the turn key touring behemoth. There is a state legislator who is willing to run a bill next session to help us out, but she needs our help.

Over the summer, blithely assuming it ever gets to the west side, when a light refuses to notice you, whether it be to turn left, turn right, or go straight please let me know. I will be compiling the results on a Google map to present to the legislature as we discuss it, both before and during the upcoming session.

North bound 405 on-ramp off of sunset blvd N (renton). Also 196th Ave SE trying to cross or turn onto SE Renton Maple Valley Rd (unincorporated King County Maple valley/Renton area). Those are the two i have the most problems with.

Left turn light at highland park way and e. marginal way traveling north. If it's in the evening I end up blowing it every time, during the day it's far to busy and I have to wait for a car to pick me up.

Thanks for all the input so far. Feel free to check the map to ensure that the old hippie got things right.

Really like the coordinates or Google maps spotting.

Representative Asay, a second seat rider herself, has volunteered to do this for us, so I definitely owe her the data, even if it is more anecdotal than quantitative. I want to thank all of the riders for getting the information to me.

As much as I would like too, I cannot get to every part of the state to look for these lights. (Would be better than working, but there is that whole cash flow issue.)

I will definitely have fun in Vegas. :ninja:

The entire state, and the broader coverage the better.

I will also be plotting the hits from Oregon, in case someone down there wants to look at the traffic signal issue.
