Sincerly hope the officer is OK, ... however, will be waiting to read that "speed was involved" since it involved a motorcycle.

"Too fast for conditions." Doubt he will get a ticket, though.

Airlifted? Wow that's expensive. They only gave me an ambulance to harborview (and I'm glad they did cause my insurance doesn't cover airlift, you have to have seperate insurance, and I'm sure the airlift is at least 50k). If it wasn't life threatening why did they airlift (one of my roomie in the hospital came all the way from east side of mt rainier and she came by ambulance)? I'm pretty sure I heard the EMTs tell the docs when I arrived at harborview I stopped breathing twice so it wasn't like I was in great condition (though I was mostly aware though I really wanted to sleep and they kept asking me questions to try to keep me from sleeping). Then again even though I can't afford it I would at least probably be excited to be in a helicopter. I got to see it land after leaving a procedure (it lands on top the parking deck that is slightly lower than the hospital entrance on that side). Pretty damn cool (I stood on my walker til it landed cause I wanted to watch. And with my heavy cast that takes effort to stand for a long time).

Anyways, glad he's fine and in my opinion he went to a very good hospital (I've been very happy with my experience there, they really care there and I can attest if he has any foot issues there is probably no better place in at least the US. Hopefully he gets my doc who has saved my foot from amputation and has made sure that everything, including my femur which originally a different team was responsible for, has been going well (he really cares about his patients).

  12. There's actually a new illegal Danger. I'm talking about illegal water, of course.

  13. Word

I saw 2 cops on their BMW's today while it was raining hard. I am down for riding whenever you feel I just can't believe the departments allow for this knowing it's gonna be an extra risk.

  14. It's based on the temperature that determines if they get to cage it.

  15. I got airlifted once too, after being hit and ran over by a car.

  16. there was bbq sauce in the middle of the road.

  18. All we can do now is hope it was Rob Beidler.

  19. Its hard riding when its not dry. He should spend more time practicing his riding skills and less time trying to be a cop. He'll likely live longer that way.. this 2 wheeled stuff is hard and not for everyone.
