I Ride: ZX-10R
ATT: Racers and Track Riders
For the racers and track riders this pertains to, we have added a new feature in your profile where you can now list any and all information about your racing.

On the Edit Your Details page from within the Control Panel, you can scroll down and see quite a few new options, all related to racing.

You can list your Race Team name, your bike numbers, list your sponsors, and write up a Racer Bio of anything you'd like to share.

This information is now listed in everyone's profile in your About Me tab and also a dedicated Track Time tab.

To be consistent with the forum rules, we dont allow businesses, clubs, or organizations to be listed in signatures. We understand the need for racers to advertise their race team and race sponsors, so we've created this dedicated area within your user profile to accommodate any racer-related information you feel the need to share.

Everyone is encouraged to move their race information into their profile. In the days to come, we will be cleaning up forum signatures to ensure they comply to the forum rules, which are listed at the top of every page on the forum.

If you have any questions about this new feature, please post up.

The "Sponsors" detail needs to be listed somewhere on each post - under "I Ride:" would probably be the best location. The ability of a racer to promote their sponsors with every post is a big part of a sponsee's responsibility - internet forums are by far the largest word-of-mouth medium available today, and seeing as how we don't get any TV coverage, they are the biggest way we put our sponsor's names out there.

Ideally, the section would also allow links to the sponsor's website. If it gets too big (ie some people have 20+ sponsors) then the display could be limited and rotate through the racer's list.

I'll this idea.
This new thing effectively eliminates any sponsor visibility.

Has this been discussed? This is a pretty big issue.
