It's easier to explain in person, but that last corner set before the straight (northwest corners)... you are turning right when you can go pretty much straight over the curb to skip that motion.
Got it. I tried that, but it didn't make sense at the time. But reading below...

I need to get the front to stop bouncing so much and hold the line. Once I get the damping sorted it should be better. This one I know, but I couldn't get the front to finish the turn. Clickers all of the way in doesn't help, plus the bushings are so worn that it sticks when topped out. Not good.

That make sense?
I was pushing the front on the throttle, hence my timidity. I was quicker through there when I had my slicks mounted last Tuesday, but I didn't know how they would do in the dirt so I tossed on a set of DOT SV takeoffs. I've made better decisions. The wide line sets me up for a stratight drive into the right, if I understand where you are describing the "North East" corner. I'll try it next time I'm out there. Will they let us run the dirt on Tuesdays, even though we dirty up the track?

Got a lap timer? I got a beacon. It would be nice to also put beacons on the dirt section so we can do splits.

You bet. I even have a tripod somewhere to set it up. Let's coordinate next practice. If you want to borrow the beacon, let me know and I'll get it to you. Can you practice on weekdays, or weekends only?

I've got enough vacation time to start chipping half-days off during the week but my half-days will likely be first half of the day. I want to ride 2-3 times a week for a month or two while the weather's nice, will probably start next week. Not sure yet which days are good. They were also talking about having the track open until sunset, again haven't tried to use that, maybe possible to get some track time in after work.

I really want to go check that oval track out we were planning to visit earlier some day though. Can you e-mail them to see what their deal is - will they open the track if we get 4-5 guys to come?

Dmitry, See above. I can bring or loan a beacon for splits.

I totally forgot about that. I'll look for the contact info and give the guy a jingle. Straddleline ORV park.
