Roll Call: ORP July 27
Hey,

Any PNWriders joining for the Palatov ORP event on July 27 ? The last event had the clearest track I ever had at any trackday, and the instruction (Rob ____) was a big help to me and the other riders.

Am planning a fossil ride out of grass valley Sunday 6/26 (will be separately posted) to make the most of the trip, there is lodging deal with a ranch out there for the trackday attendees (great BBQ after the last trackday)

Am working out bike transport plans, anyone wanting to share/need transport drop me a line once you register.

do you get a motorcycle-only track session?

I'm anxious to try ORP...a Monday would be nice - I like open track!

I have a truck, no trailer...

Yes, every third session is moto only, I think 30-40 bikes is the cap. From what I've heard from the supermoto pilots is that ORP is great for that kind of bike, as the average speeds are lower the PIR. On the transport, you can PM me, we may have access to a multibike trailer or I can help load;

well, I can't seem to get any of the Corvallis riders interested enough in the Aug 1-2, or 15-16 at ORP...even with 2 FREE track sessions for newbies...perhaps I should try 7/27 Monday, looks like they limit to 20 bikes, yeah!! do they have workers at every corner that know how to work with bikes, ambulance(s), ...? looks like a fun bunch of people.

somewhere I remember seeing a $200 price tag but now I can't find that...with only 20 bikes and 30 cars there should be limited crashing and maximum track time

I'll probably join you on that Fossil ride. There are some great roads in that area!

Another person joining in on the fun, see you out there ducatichick. I attended the last Palatov event at ORP and I have never seen so much quality track time. Lots of clean open track, people that know how to ride and a fun challenging track to top it off. I will certainly be out there on the 27th and other dates Palatov is offering. For those that have not seen the track do a quick Google search and check out one of the many videos people have posted. This track is fun. It has lots of altitude changes, with 14 corners in 2.3 miles!

Thank You
I just wanted to thank everyone who came out to ORP on Monday. THANK YOU.

We certainly were in the right part of the Northwest that day 92 and a little breeze perfect, on a great road course- doesn't get any better. There was a lot of good riding had by all and I think a number of you went a way with a different perspective on how to sort out a corner and that's truthfully what made my day.

Please check out your photos:

You can learn a lot about what you're doing checking your photos and besides there are some great poster shots that Ben would love to sell you so he can afford to keep coming out.

Look forward to seeing you again on August 24th.
