I'm in, making the trip over from Spokane with my wife. Portland is a nice area, so it'll be fun to take a couple days off work. Haven't been to PIR before, looking forward to getting out on another new track. And with the 7/13 Inland Speed day getting rained out I'm suffering serious track withdrawal, so 7/29 can't get here soon enough.

I will go ahead and defend D this time we both noticed the swing arm was a tad wet when we loaded the bike into his truck. But we both thought it was residual brake fluid from the crash, since I did such a good job cleaning it

D, If you wanna swap in your penske you can use it again.

In... and for any of you folks heading down here you should stick around for the weekend (ORP on Sat./Sun.). Check out Portland on Thur. and head out towards ORP on Fri. If you're into rafting there's some good stuff 10-20 miles away from ORP. Good times and the weather should be great if not hella-hot!!

A lot smoother. A lot faster. A lot flatter. Watch a few videos on youtube to get an idea where the track goes. Everyone says its boring, i disagree.

full gear and tape for the lights i wouldn't recommend riding in just in case you happen to go down and can't ride home. but you CAN.

I've ridden PIR 9 times this year and at least half the time I just ride down there on my bike. It's not ideal but there's no issue in doing so.

Bare min.= Tape, tire gauge, tool kit that came with bike and a backpack to carry food/beverages.

After find this PSSR/PIR video on youtube, I'm really looking forward to riding PIR. Looks even flatter than SCMP, with some really fast sections.

At 5pm I inserted a Type K temperature probe into the parking lot and my Altek calibrator read 141F. 4' above the surface said 101F.

Maybe we can turn on the night light at PIR and run this NESBA day starting at 9pm instead of 9am?
