Need a good butt lube...
...ha, thought that would get your attention.

Really though, my damn leathers keep getting grippy on my (corbin) seat... making it akward to slide side to side.

I don't want to armorall the seat, cuz I've seen that cause the leather to crak over time...

Any ideas to make the seat a little more slippery?

I find my ZX12r corbin a(LOTTA) bit of a resemblance to a clamshell tractor seat, as w/ corbin on the TLS... making it MORE difficult than the stocker for "crack" transitions.. E to W.

Try a bit of baby powder?????
FREE and clean, Ripp'n

DoubleD uses a good leather cleaner on our Corbin that seems to work for him, I know it makes it a bit slippery for me....
Its called leather lotion I picked it up at Wilsons leather, but I'm sure any leather shop would have something similar....MrsD

Armor All

I Armor All both my seat and the ass of my leathers for track days and race weekends.

As far as cracking goes, you just need to make sure you continue good leather care. I use Obenaufs for all my leathers.

I've also used Dryer Sheets for slicking it all up.

Same problem
I was also thinking about a better seat for my tard but all the seats I've seen have mo stickie seat coverings.
Might need to go talk to Riches.
Someone told me a little while ago to use Plexus. Worked great for a couple of rides.

I use Armor All on my saddle from time to time so I can slide my butt across it in leather. Haven't noticed any deleterious effects on the leather, though.

Man Oh Man was he pissed...
I've also used it on my R1. Works fine.

I actually like the traction for heavy braking...

I lift out of the saddle with my legs and slide across from side to side when leaning the bike into turns.

I have seen some guys put stomp-grip on the seat to help keep them from crushing their nuts on the tank...

My ass is so big, it molds around the seat... It requires a releasing agent!

Baby powder. Doesn't hurt the leathers or the seat...

I Ride: because I can't not ride.
Pledge wax.

FTW.

I use it for everything, including helmet visors (works better than Plexus, hands down), bodywork, etc., as well as for this exact problem.

I've tried baby powder/talcum/corn starch for this, but it looks ghey when the seat & leathers are all white, plus there is a very noticeable and perfectly butt-shaped print on the seat...

It's not a Track Time Post, it should be in the Portland Section.

Are you saying that any time the words "butt" and "lube" are used in a sentence it belongs in the Portland section??

If so I'm on board with that...

A pinch between yer cheek and gum with some good butt lube we're in portland.

Baby powder is good although Monkey Butt powder does somewhat better and is a great product.
