2Fast ORP Aug 15/16 - LOTS of Spots open
We have lots of openings for our August 15/16 event at ORP. Especially on the 16th...we only have 15 people registered and if it stays low, will run a hot track all day long with no sessions.

So come on out, we'd love to see you there and the event is going on no matter what!

I Ride: while I'm young
I'm pretty sure I'll be going. If I do go though, I'll be riding there. I've made preliminary reservations at the Tall Winds Motel but haven't registered for the event yet.

I emailed Mark on the website about a week and a half ago and didn't get a reply...but is it possible if I can buy some gas off of a 2-fast staff member? If I ride there I won't have access to a gas can and looking at a youtube video it appears that the path in is just gravel so it would be inconvenient to drive back out for gas.

Am I correct in understanding that I won't have to bring food because hotdogs and water will be provided?

In the event that an accident occurs, does anybody have room on the way back for one more bike?

Thanks!

I could possibly transport a bike back in the event of an incident. I know of at least one staff member that may have gas available at the track.

Mark is STUPID busy. Maybe just stupid... either way, he is not always on top of his email situation. I will have firm answers for you no later than Thursday morning, as we are at Pacific tomorrow.

Sure there's a price break...for signing up for both days. Buy Saturday and Sunday together for a total of $349 + you get the $10 PNW discount off of that. That's a savings of 40 bucks!

I should have gas. I would advise bringing to me as empty as you can make it. I charge 20 bux a tank full.

If we do a open session format, you will probably ride no more than 50% of the available time... unless you are Ross DeLong. He could probably ride the 7 hours straight through. Which means you would 'likely' ride the same amount as if we did a 2 session format.

If we have so few people that we would even be considering doing a single 'open' session format, you can be 95% sure that we will be getting at least a 2 session format.

Pretty good deal either way.

You should sign up both days and so should Duane.

Speaking from my experiences with Cascade at Portland...., 30 minute sessions are a LOT when you're not used to it. and im not just talking one 30 minute session, you can do that no problem...but a day full of them takes a toll on the body.

99% in sunday, so long as there are no issues tomorrow. my starter already went out friday at AF so i've been bump starting the thing the whole weekend+tomorrow...ORP will make that easier with the hill.

which direction are we running on sunday?

Cool, thanks. But 20 bucks a tank full? Are you running some kind of special gas? Along those lines, where's the closest gas station? I figure I'll fill up right before I hit the track.

I was told that the track now sells 5 gals of 92 Octane for $20.00

also from the track's website

http://oregonracewaypark.blogspot.co...le-at-orp.html

pleased to announce the availability of 92 octane, unleaded gasoline at the track.

Fuel will be sold in 5 gal. increments for $20. All you need to do is bring a can and a funnel!

So it's the same price as cobra525's gas then...I had actually seen this earlier but don't have a funnel or a gas can since I'll be riding over there.

why don't you just buy a gas can and give it to someone who is driving down there and get it when they come back? or just pay the 20 bucks to get it filled. if you race every session you will go empty before end of day. i believe i made it 55%-60% of the day before needing a refill at pr.

Yeah, I'm just going to pay the $20 to have him fill my tank. Not a big deal, and the last time I was at PR I needed to fill up once too, about 2/3 into the day.

Mark, at 2Fast should be able to tell you about tire vendors, but so far someone has been there at every event.

I know for certain that Barry with KFG Dunlop will be there. I haven't heard about Rick, but he sells Michelin/Pirelli.

I have been told that there will be no showers this weekend. Water/Electrical will NOT be ready yet.

My trailer has a shower.... and power. If anyone is interested in transport down, along with the use of my facilaties in exchange for some gas money, let me know.

Nice, can't wait to see it. Yea, the track has a lower top speeds than many like PR, PIR, and Spokompton. Wind protection shouldn't be all that relevant at ORP.

Awesome... now I can buy all the parts and tires for the bike that I don't have.

On that note, I will be dropping my bike off with Mr. Lanigan on my way through Seattle.

I may be seen hitchhiking around the racetrack, or driving my Excursion with the door open, trying to drag knee.
