This is an off road rally like Travis Pastrana has been doing for Subaru, but this is an amatuer event. Basically it is WFO on closed dirt roads that are very, very fast in places. The one requirement is a totally street legal bike, including turn signals, horn, etc. Also no 2 strokes, but DOT tires are NOT required. It's two days of high speed fun with no jeeps coming the other way for $150. I'm signing up with my XR650R and they need more bikes, so entry is open till the 24th and probably the 25th. Here is the site with more info: http://www.wildwestrally.org/index.html Errr....this probably should have gone in Trail Time forum, Mod? Last edited by PeteN95; 09-16-2009 at 12:54 PM.. I hope Jerry himself is going to be in good enough shape to still do it. After watching that SV650 doing the jumps in supermoto race I was thinking about bringing my GSXR to this one ![]() |
