| Training Wheels Joined: Nov 2007 From: Lake Oswego, OR I Ride: Ducati 1098, Honda CRF450r | We go over this in our New Racer School. Every rider needs to find their own reference points. These should always be stationary objects. It can be as simple as a sign, crack in the pavement, bump, etc. You need repetition. As your speed increases you need to adjust or even get new 'markers'. |

| Training Wheels Joined: Aug 2008 From: Battle Ground, Wa. I Ride: gsxr750 | I have found good (for me) reference points for all the turns at PIR except 4, 7 and 8. I have a brake point for 7, but no specific turn point. I'm a newer B rider. (read-slow, but hey, I'm old as dirt) I'm betting that 99% of A class, 66% of B class and 33% of C class use reference points in all 9 turns. |
