I Ride: Whatever I Can
Oregon Raceway Park Saturday November 7th who wants to ride-
Star Events has partnered with, The MotoFit Group, to put on a triple play track day at Oregon Raceway Park Saturday November 7th.

We are only accepting twentyfive intermediate to advanced riders and the spots are going fast. As always, we look forward to another great day in Grass Valley.

Just an FYI - Last year when we rode the track for the very first time it was 5o something and raining hard in PDX... Grass Valley was 70, sunny and no wind @ ORP.

Let's ROCK,,

Am waiting on a response from Star Projects to the email I sent yesterday morning. But that is probably no surprise, huh? Hopefully the registration will be specific about this "intermediate to advanced riders" piece. As you know, Palatov hinted at it with little success.

I'll be doing my second track day at PIR in a week. After two track days and a bunch of TOR's, would I be acceptable for this session as my first at ORP? I really planned on just waiting until next year to do ORP, but this is very tempting.

Okay, I have a question about passing regulations at this event. "ALL PASSING WILL BE DONE BY POINT BY ONLY," according to the regulations document regarding this event. Does this apply only to carts and cars? Why should we have to worry about waving faster riders by while riding our motorcycles w/o mirrors? Is it going to be more like CTT rules, just courteous inside/outside passing?

No POINTING
Sorry for the confusion,, Bill is very serious and point by only applies to the cars Galen

Wingspan passing inside or outside -- use good judgement and take no unnecessary risks, pretty simple. Be smart Be safe Be consistent and have some fun.

Look forward to seeing you at Oregon Raceway Park

Oregon Raceway Park - Weather
Last year in November, when Oregon Raceway Park was ridden for the very first time... the pavement was three days old and the weather was fifty something and raining when we left Portland. The weather in Grass Valley however, was sixty something sunny and no wind, a beautiful day. The annual rain fall is around nine inches in Grass Valley.

We will make a decision one week prior to the event based on the weather patten to cancel or go. If we cancel the event we will refund everyone their entry fees period, no credits.

Please get your money in if you have not already done so to hold your spot.

We look forward to seeing you at Oregon Raceway Park in November.

/Rob

If anyone from the Portland area has room for me and my bike, let me know! I wouldn't mind leaving either Friday afternoon and camping, or before dawn Saturday morning. I will pitch in for gas, even share in the driving if you choose...

Otherwise I'm gonna have to rent a uhaul or something.

Thanks.
