Well? Party? We found some corner workers that have an interesting perspective on some high profile corners. We rode around the track in a golf cart. Ran out of crack, ran out of Crown Royal, low on beer, low on whine (sic),... ATI workers left... Guess riding is the only thing left.

Not making it out to PIR today. Woke up at 5am, only to see what was outside…. I was hoping the rain would ease up, but no signs until now, not getting any better. I was really looking forward to riding today with all my buddies.
Whatever anyone says, riding on wet track is not fun at all for ME – personal choice. Be safe out there guys. Wish the City would have considered postponing this…

. It's 8:50 and about 5 miles from the track it's pouring at my house. Hopefully it'll clear up a bit so I can come by but I'm not too optimistic.

I could have, but I was leaned over a little, grabbed my front pretty hard, and it was pretty wet.

How much high speed gardening was done today? I was watching the webcam at pirlive.com a couple of times. Was watching about 10am and saw a guy standing on the outside of 8 with his bike. Saw a couple of others too, but the ambulamps never rolled so I assume everyone was alright.

Wasn't too bad. I was going 20mph, maybe 25 tops. It was the guy in front of me that went down, and about second later, I hit the ground... Panic mode... Which would have worked out ok in the dry, but not in the wet.

That was probably me. Pretty minor lowside, frame slider took most of the damage, exhaust a little scraped up, and cracked fairing by the slider. Oh, and mud everywhere. Not really sure what happened though, one second I was fine, and the next I was sliding on my back. Think maybe my transition was too sudden or at the wrong moment.

Anyway, my leathers barely even look stressed, so yeah, it was slippery.

My throttle roll on wasn't smooth in 9, I lowsided, Sentor thought it looked fun and followed suit.

I suck at rain riding :( and it was pretty slick.

Total of 4 bikes down (non of which required to have a truck sent out) 3 of them returned to the track over the course of one of the wetest trackdays I have seen at PIR. Not to mention there were alot more people riding then I am use to seeing at a completly rained out trackday!

The only time the rain stoped long enough for a line to dry was the last 30 minutes of the day, and by the time the fucking bicycles hit the track at 5PM the track was 100% dry and the sun was peaking out.

All in all still had a great time hanging out with a great bunch of people, thanks Travis for putting this together and everyone one else who nutted(or boxed) up and came out to play in the rain!!!!
