Not much damage done thought. Sore neck/shoulder muscles because I think I landed on my head (need a new helmet). And my right side Vortex rear set mounting bracket needs to be replaced. Overall, pretty easy get off.

I think both myself and the bike got off easy. Although I landed on my head/neck, I immediately rolled on to my knees and slid 30-50ft to the right side of the track. That scrubbed off a lot of my speed and I only tumbled one or two more times before I came to a stop.

I think I should put $ in to tires, tire warmers, and suspension upgrades, instead of new helmets.

I think A new helmet is a good idea, especially after seeing that one.

It was weird to be behind you watching that. You did a superman off the bike, onto the ground, and then sliding on your knees like a swing dancer! Well, until you got into the dirt anyway.

The bike just kept rolling... rolling... rolling... right into that tree. :(

I hit the brakes and just watched the entire thing.

Yeah, you're getting to the point where pure's aren't going to cut it, and where you're going to need to watch your HOT pressure, not your cold.

I was wondering how that happened after I came by and you were on the right side of the track and the bike came to a stop at the base of that tree. Glad you're not hurt too bad and in good spirits.

Already ordered a new helmet, but if it doesn't come in by next Sunday, I may need to borrow that RF-1000 you're selling

I was also lucky enough to get the K3's stock on my S1K as well. I liked them enough that I bought another pair that were takeoffs from a racer's bike. I might suggest Q2s as well, I fitted them for the track on the S1 and I thought they performed quite well (I was tracking the S1 before an accident/insurance incident made the Aprilia a no-brainer as a dedicated track bike). I think I will put the K3s back on the beemer for the street since I think they very well suited and the bike that likes to eat tires.

And yes, the S1 is sooooo much more capable than we are.
Here's my video from the last 200 session, I'm sure your view was pretty much the same, except you had a S1KRR in front of you slowing you down in the turns.

Was feeling pretty worn out during that last session, my corner speeds were slightly slower and I was later getting on the throttle coming out of the turns as compared to some of my earlier sessions, but I didn't want to come in as it was great having a mostly open track.

Don't think so, philiminilli pulls up behind the guy with the rack on back of his gsxr 750 at about 1:51 into the video. Was chatting on and off all day with the gsxr750 rack guy, had seen him a lot at prior track events. Looks like philiminilli was pitted next door to me.

I was there as well as two friends of mine. This was only my 2nd track day, 1st one was at Pacific with 2fast last month. It took me most of the morning to get to know the track and adjusted so I appologize if I got in anyone's way or was going wide. I think I was the only 'blue shirt' in the 200 group on the white BMW naked bike. I have to say, I'm hooked. Already planning on doing OR Raceway at the end of the month with my friends. Have to look into getting some pants with pucks since my buddy was saying I was really close to burning a hole through my pants. That would have freaked me out.
