| Novice Racer Joined: Sep 2005 From: Jacinto I Ride: Aprilia Mille R, Gixxer 600, Yamaha WR250, Yamaha TTR125 | Had a highside in the pits due to some very shagged tires and the ground being cold (it actually froze overnight). Was riding my bike over to KFG to ask about tire pressures turned right, gave it a little gas, heard the engine RPMs climb fairly quickly, felt the rear tire spinning, and then the next thing I knew I was up in the air. I think it tossed me up pretty good cuz I landed on my right side and knew fairly quickly that something was not right with my body. No video but my avatar is the separated shoulder that was my prize for this incident. For those who know about should separations, I suffered a Type V so I did have to have surgery. Here is a bigger picture of the separation: ![]() And here's the pic of how they fixed it: ![]() That wood screw looking thing is probably one of the most expensive screws I have ever had the fortune of buying. According to my medical bills it cost over $800. |

| beansbaxter is too lazy to come up with something but he will get to it, eventually... ![]() | haha x 400,001. This thread = 5 stars. Jared's reaction was almost as funny as Noodle's actual superman. I never thought a "WTF!!!" could be so expressively conveyed through a full face helmet. I'm glad to hear no collar bones were harmed during the filming of this video. PS, somebody needs to check on StevieB, he may have sprayed wine all over his monitor again and needs assistance. |
