Had a good day out there despite all the crashes. I don't know what the deal was out there on Saturday but there was some dumb shit going on. I had a few incidents where folks passed me in places that didn't make a lot of sense (do you really need to pass me on the inside by the wall coming out of the bus stop or half way through T1? Really?) Thanks to 2-Fast for doing their best to keep things moving and keep people safe(er).

It's cool. I can be the bigger person here.

I had great instruction and took the classes, followed an instructor around at a slow pace the whole time and learned the lines/body position. I slipped up on one of my lines and tried to over correct. it was my bad.

crashes happen and you have to learn from it, not just blame other elements.

it was a little fall but I was more worried about how angry my bike was going to be at me

I was not confused, I knew exactly who you were.
I'm glad you finally came up to me to introduce yourself even if I was at the gate about to go on.

I'll be at the ridge.

In response to the crash, my crash wasn't bad, I actually could have saved my over correction because I pulled myself up straight and rolled off the course slowly then dumb me used the front brakes on gravel. the bike literally has a few new scratches and that's it.

I had a terrible day, I can only imagine how the ladies in the class might have felt because it looked like it was the first and last track day for many of them. People need to show a little courtesy. All sorts of bad passes especially in turns 3 and 4 which are by far my weakest turns. I nearly got taken out right after the bus stop while I was waiting for a safe opportunity to pass someone who was obviously overwhelmed at that moment. I don't know what the guy behind me was doing, because turn nine lets you watch the bus stop the whole fucking time, but he still hit me. Just got rubber on my exhaust and a tiny chip in my plastic, but rubbing is racing...oh wait, we're in level 100. At least I learned that the bike remains relatively stable when hit.

Watching someone get taken out at the ridge has caused me to be concerned about the rider behind me. Nearly getting taken out in a situation with more than a few seconds of clear visibility, for the fastest racer, has made it worse. As a new track rider, I feel like I'm one of those little baby sea turtles, just trying to make it to the ocean. I hope I didn't avoid the first seagull only to be swallowed by another.

hmm, I was one of the ladies there and nah i'd still do that track again. It was fine to me and i'd go through with 2 fast again because they are a great organisation. I had no idea someone got taken out in our group, sorry for your crash. Hope you are okay?

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences, but as I have learned from past track days (both driving cars and riding motorcycles) that weekend track days during nice summer days are the worst for traffic and accidents. Luckily my employer allows me to have a fairly flexible schedule so I can attend the weekday track days which are usually not as crowded.

As you get more experience and are riding at a quicker pace, there will be fewer people coming up from behind in your blind spots and you'll be passing more people and hopefully having a little more fun and confidence in being out on the track.

I didn't get taken out, someone gave us a little love tap. Zoe Ender is a little beat up, but we're mostly unscathed. That session was cut short with a red flag, which I assume means my assailant was ticked off and probably wiped out later in the session. I think our last session was only two laps. Didn't quite get my confidence back. That's ok, PSSR at the ridge on Monday.

Yeah, I figured the weekend would be a bad time. I have a flexible schedule too and I have been trying to go on weekdays only, but I wanted to give 2fast a try and I think this was the closest one for a few weeks. I figured with their ladies only school, things would be more mellow on the track. It seemed pretty good at the start, I was doing an abnormal amount of gentlemen like passing while the class got used to the track or practiced perfect lines, but things picked up as the day wore on or people moved down a level and it got a bit hectic.

Too many posts I'd like to comment on......

I'm glad for the most part that everyone had fun. There was a lot of crashes, and yes I blame it on a Saterday......

If at any time someone does not like something that is going on. PLEASE tell any of the staff. We cant fix it if we don't know. we are constantly striving to be better.

That being said, my best giggle of the day was side by side with Ryan in the Busstop
