Whos are im hoping its going to be dry, what do you think the chances are?

Its a 2-Fast day and from previous experience this year I am fairly sure Mark has his hand up Mother Nature skirt which has goten him all dry days at The Ridge so far this year, so you should be in good shape even if the forcast says otherwise!

No there are a couple ridge days in October.

Yeah its definatly a gamble late in October but you never know mother nature is tricky and could give us some good days? The dates are October 20-21st which is way late.

Is anyone willing to take a newb under their wing as far as what to do when I get there? Inspection? Track tour? Etc? I received a free riding school/track day when I bought my bike and really want to take advantage of it.

Right now my plan is to rent a Uhaul trailer for my bike and drive down that morning. Or would it be best to drive down the night before and stay at a hotel? I'm kind of leery leaving my bike on a trailer in a hotel parking lot since I don't really know the area.

Anyhoo, any advice/tips/suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

I wish I was going but can't help you out too much other than...
Try to hook up with someone that is already going and likes to help or take peeps under their wing.

Alot of us were once a newbie to the track and know how nice it is to have someone show them a bit of the ropes to take some of the stress off.

I just started tdays last year and one thing I remember most is how helpful the staff and riders are! That's the main reason I keep coming back to the track.

Keep pursuing and you will have a kick ass time you won't forget!!!

buy lots of water and snacks, bring a 5 gallon gas can too. from seattle expect to drive about 1.5 to 2 hours, get to sleep early. once at the track there should be plenty of room to find a spot and unload. Check with the neighbors to make sure they are not saving space for their friends. look for the bright red (actually kind of dull) tents (2fast logos). get free coffee and snacks. tape all the lights and glass and after 7am bring your bike and get inspected. then take those papers they give you to registration and get your sticker. go to riders meeting @ 8.15-8.30am (listen for horn) and shortly after they will do a ride around. next step is important -> have fun!
