New (cheap) data acquisition system
Pimping this for a friend of mine here in Seattle. It's a new open source data acquisition, real-time telemetry, and control system he developed and is now bootstrapping on Indiegogo. I watched development during the prototyping phases and it's a pretty awesome system. The big list of features is below, but the highlights are pretty awesome: GPS tracking, full 3-axis plus yaw sensors, room for lots of analog and digital inputs to monitor engine and suspension stats, and an optional cellular telemetry system so your teammates can see what's going on from the pits. The thing is about 4"x3", so it'll be pretty easy to fit on a bike.
Oh yeah, and it costs less than a set of race tires. $280 bucks.
