I had never been to a track day so I decided I would go and see what they are all about. As you might have noticed that weather was pretty nice today and I all I could do was kick myself for not signing up today cause it looked like a blast. Don't know when I'll have the time/money to do it. But when those two things line-up it will be a great day. Thought I would share a few pictures and a couple videos to wet everyone's appetite. The pictures and videos are nothing special as they were taken with a small digital. All I was really looking for out of the videos was some sound and I'll tell you right now it picked up myfavorite music quite well.

Lets just get these Duc pics out of the way first

Now the 1098 for all that lust after her

1098 after a few laps

Some misc. photos

Beautiful day

Action on the track

Not sure how to post a vid so if this doesn't work I will have to figure it out:
(Once again, nothing special, just a little music to the ears)

I'd hope it owned the R6. Plus that wasn't the EDR Superbike R6 that was out there.

Man that just isn't fair, I am going to go out and race on this track with never being on it before, or being on a bike in 5 months. And you locals are out there practicing that sucks.

True Nico, but the superbike is not what he would be racing against in AMA FX

Actually it would be what he is racing against in AMA FX. This was the reason for his rule proposal to allow the 848 to run in the 600SB class. So he can race and develop against the same bikes he'll see in AMA FX. FX is a 600SB class.
